Our Mission

When we first started the farm we wanted to make sure we were doing more than merely selling plants to consumers. After a lot of hard thinking and brainstorming we settled on the name Resurrections Farm & Nursery. We wanted our farm to not only be based in faith, but we were, and still are in the process of resurrecting a historic farm property built in 1835 back to its prime.

Our farm has two main goals to accomplish.

Our first goal is to give back to our communities and supply much needed high quality produce to local food banks. We also hope to be able to supply items that may not always make it to food banks such as fresh and local high quality fruits.

Our second goal is to use the proceeds from our nursery sales to purchase more of the farm land that adjoins our property. Not only will this help return the property to the historic farmstead it once was, this will enable us to be able to plant more fruiting plants and trees as well as greatly increase the amount of vegetables that can be grown specifically for food banks, giving more back directly to neighbors in our communities that need it most.

In North Carolina 1 in 8 people face hunger, 1 in 6 are children.

A great local charity that specifically feeds children is the North East Wake Backpack Buddies. They are always happy to accept donations of food, you can volunteer your time to help pack meals, or contribute in the form of monetary donations.

We appreciate all of your support and can't wait to help you grow a more sustainable food source for you and your family!
